Small Business Services

Small Business Services provides information for businesses to help them grow and prosper. In Western Canada, these centres are part of Western Economic Diversification Canada's business service network, and have offices in Vancouver, Edmonton, Saskatoon and Winnipeg.

Small Business Services promotes entrepreneurship and innovation, and maintains an extensive database of business and trade information from federal, provincial, municipal and non-government sources in order to provide fast, accurate and comprehensive information on a wide variety of programs, services and regulations.

People interested in starting or growing a business in Western Canada can call or visit a business information specialist in person, or they can research business information at the libraries in the various Small Business Services centres.

These centres also provide topical business seminars, on-line business products and a useful collection of business Info Guides.
