Evaluation Coverage
WD undertakes evaluations to cover direct program spending as specified in the 2016 Treasury Board Policy on Results. Evaluations provide a neutral assessment of the relevance and performance of WD's program spending. Evaluation coverage of WD's program spending is specified in the department's Report on Plans and Priorities, and Evaluation reports.
Blueprint 2020 - Annual Progress Report
Western Economic Diversification Canada (WD) is dedicated to living the Blueprint 2020 vision and recognizes the importance of making engagement part of our culture by creating a sustained and transparent dialogue among staff and senior management and better serving Canadians through more openness and collaboration.

2018
In late 2018, the Clerk of the Privy Council, Michael Wernick, asked all Departments and Agencies to submit success stories related to Public Service renewal for his consideration. These stories are being considered by the Clerk as he prepares his Report to the Prime Minister for 2019.
